Wholesome Ingredients
3 Tbsp of Manna (Coconut Butter)
6 Dates (Soaked in warm water-PITTED)
1/2 Tsp of Himalayan Salt
1/4 - 12 Cup Water
1 Tsp of Vanilla
OPTIONAL: Add Semi-Sweet Chocolate Powder (wink-wink)
Items required
Food Processor or High-Speed Blender
Silicone Spatula for mixing
Gather all your ingredients:
1. Soak in warm water and pit the Dates. (remove the seed)
2. In the high-speed blender, throw in the dates, coconut manna, tahini, vanilla, salt, water.
3. Blend at high speed, this will take patience. Start with 3 TBSP at-a-time until you reach your desired consistency.
4. Now the Yum+Spread is ready to use and eat!
PERSONAL TIP: For a smoother consistency, add water gradually. Personally, I took 1/2 cup of water and went by 3 TBSP at a time to find my perfect butter spread.
Preserve in a glass container/jar and refrigerate!
The spread will solidify when it gets cold but it is still spreadable.
NOTES:
Coconut Manna is basically pureed coconut butter, made from dried coconut flesh which makes it very creamy and perfect for spreads, sauces and even smoothies.
Tahini has been a trending topic for a long time. It's a creamy paste made of sesame seeds. It's used in hummus and/or middle eastern cuisines.
