My little food community from Instagram was asking for this #YumIsoYum "Egg+Sandwich" recipe, and I had to whip this up as an appreciation post for the constant support and the beginning of a new month! #HelloDecember This recipe is one of the best + quickest breakfast, snack, or even dinner that can be whipped up in less than 15 minutes or so depending on how you “Mise en Place” your station. (In case, you don't know the french term, it's a technique used to assemble your ingredients, and kitchen tools/ supplies ahead of time...in order to help you cook those meals quickly.) STEP-BY-STEP VISUAL RECIPE:
BEST EGG "SALAD" SANDWICH
1. Gather the ingredients: Boiled Eggs, Mayonnaise, Sour Cream, Salt, Black Pepper, Red Hot Chili Pepper, Slice of Bread (Optional) Cheese.
TIP: The perfect cheese for this sandwich is swiss and mozzarella.
3. Prep: Diced the boiled eggs, add in a bowl, add the ingredients and mix.
4. Grab the golden-kissed toasts topped with the melted cheese. Yum!
5. Assemble the sandwich by adding or layering the mixed boiled eggs and spices on top of one toast, then close it up with the other slice and you made sandwich.
Tip: Cut into 4 pieces for finger bites or just in half like the good old days. It's your choice!
