Papaya-Coconut Turmeric Smoothie

Hot days in New York City means it's "SMOOTHIE TIME" , we've been hitting a record breaking 80's and 90+ degrees and it's only SPRING. It's been excruciating HOT and Steaming in the concrete jungle of New York and with that said, we need to freshen-up our flavors with in-season produce and today we had available many PAPAYAS !!! #YUMMY .

Can you believe it's almost the End-Of-The-Month? This only means, that I haven't posted anything in a while because "Life" has been.. in a couple of words, so busy and complex lately, but other than that, it's been great! (*) remember, that we are blessed friends because we are living and moving forward, don't you forget, today's words of encouragement.


Frankly, I took the time to please my #foodie fans and came up with this amazing, tangy and delish quick recipe for my food lovers!!! I had this smoothie as a lunch and it was so amazing that I had to share it with you all. (Talking about you all, comment below, where are you located? Im curious to know please :)


 

Here we go... and gather your simple ingredients for this #YUMISOYUM smoothie!



YUM+PAPAYA-COCONUT TURMERIC SMOOTHIE


INGREDIENTS

(Servings 2)

1/2 Cup of Water

1/2 Cup of Coconut Milk

1/4 Tsp of Turmeric

2 Cups of Papaya (Fresh or Frozen)

1 Tbsp of Agave (Optional for sweetener)

1 Tsp of Vanilla

1 Tsp of Ginger Powder or Fresh

1 Large Frozen Banana


OPTIONAL Top with Toasted Coconut Flakes ( ...I totally forgot this part on my photo- lol)


NOTE

Add Ice to make Smoothie Bowl or as frozen smoothie drink but make sure to adjust the flavors since it will become watered down because of the ice.


DIRECTIONS

1. Add liquids first (Water, Coconut Milk, Vanilla, Agave)

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and for last add the frozen goods.

3. In a high-speed blender, process until smooth.

4.Enjoy this fresh and different type of smoothie that had lots of awesome ingredients for your gut and health.


#YUMISOYUM this was a delicious twist to my regular papaya smoothie!!!
